The USS Midway was launched on March 20, 1945, and for the first decade of service she was the largest warship in the world. Midway's final journey took place on January 10, 2004 when she was towed across San Diego Bay to her new home at Navy Pier where she became a world-class Museum. Guests take part in self-guided tours to explore the museum at their own pace. They'll receive individual headsets and listen to the history and fun facts on this historical piece of San Diego. Your guests are welcome to explore the museum and visit the Gift Shop at their leisure after the tour.
